Alex Cherry: Shadow Work Solo Show

Opening Reception Thursday February 20th 6pm - 10pm 

Artist will be present for the opening reception.  

The show is a 50/50 mix of selected older and newer prints that represent the lightest and darkest of my work. Shadow Work is a term for a process that involves exploring the unconscious psyche, so my intention is to draw a visual parallel to that process through the stenciled images at the core of my work - themselves a representation of light and dark with heavily spiritual themes.

Alex Cherry is a self-taught Los Angeles based artist heavily inspired by music and pop culture with an eclectic body of work and yet a style that is unmistakable. From comments on society to eye-catching stencil work to surreal digital cityscapes and more his art offers a little something for everyone.
